DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALISTS
The Digital Media Specialist implements Vision Maker Media’s (VMM) public relations strategies and plans to deploy successful digital media campaigns that align with Vision Maker Media’s mission and vision. The Digital Media Specialist manages and delivers VMM’s digital media assets to vendors and/or contractors; track, and post digital content for VMM’s social media, collect and report social media data, and monitor digital trends that best educate and engage audience participation regarding VMM’s content.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree in film production, mass communications, graphic design, public relations, liberal arts, journalism, broadcasting, media arts, and/or a related field plus one year of experience with client relations, mass communication, and media making; equivalent education/experience considered. Proficient in social media targeting and communication. Ability to execute and coordinate digital and print public relations campaigns across a variety of platforms. Knowledge and use of digital multimedia programs and social media platforms. Knowledge and use of audio and video creation and editing software, web and graphic design programs. Knowledge and ability to meet PBS’s tech specs, system uploads, and programming protocols for delivery of public media assets. Strong writing and mass communication skills in various social media platforms. Ability to meet deadlines, learn new technologies and adapt to a changing media landscape. Ability to manage several overlapping projects effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to work successfully within a team environment and across many partners and departments.
