Brief Summary of Job Description: Under direction of the Facilities Business Manager, the position will operate the customer service desk as well as update and train Facilities employees on the TMA work order system. Create and provide reports to administrative staff using the TMA data. Act as a backup operator to Central Stores and provide I.T. support as needed.
Job Duties: Directly and indirectly assist staff of approximately 110 personnel, consisting of administrative staff and students by acting as a resource for any information concerning the TMA work order software. Create reports using TMA data to assist administrative staff. Research and propose new/alternate software to make the department more efficient and provide other I.T. support as needed. Operate standard office equipment such as fax, phone system, printers, copier, and exhibit knowledge and use of email, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.). Operate the Facilities Service Desk and serve as a back up operator to Central Stores (when needed). For this position, regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function. The position is considered essential personnel based on job responsibilities. In the event of a campus incident, this position may be required to report to work, even during periods when the campus is closed, due to its essential nature.
