Insulation Services Worker

Performs the layout, fabrication, and application of mechanical insulation on building mechanical systems, power plant equipment, and underground utility distribution systems. Performs inspections and assessments of insulation on existing mechanical systems to assist with work prioritization. Must be available to perform work in addition to and outside of the normal scheduled shift. This may include emergency situations, coverage of shifts due to absences, inclement weather, or other operational needs, either on short notice or with advance notice to support operations and maintenance as required for plant operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. High school or equivalent experience. Five (5) years of related work experience. Industrial Maintenance experience. Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of mechanical insulation systems. Knowledge of blueprints and floorplans. All applicants must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a DMV background check authorizing them to operate university vehicles.
Applicant review begins August 28. Criminal history background check, driving record review and pre-placement physical will be conducted.
