Job Description

This position includes basic food preparation, service, and/or sanitation tasks. Prepare food according to instructions. Follow proper food handling techniques. Assist in completing the Serving Line Worksheets. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Set up service/preparation areas as assigned. Provide high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department's customer service objectives. Direct, help train, and assist student employees in food preparation and service. Clean and replenish the service/preparation areas, dining room, and dish washing/pot-and-pan areas during and after service. Complete required training. Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision. Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift

12:00 – 9:00 pm, alternating weekends

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to handle and lift heavy kitchen utensils and supplies (e.g. 40 pounds)
  • Good physical health.
  • Some knowledge of and experience in basic food preparation, service, and/or sanitation methods and a desire to provide high-quality customer service are strongly preferred

Salary Range: $13.05 - $14.05
