Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting (up to 15 lbs.) pushing or pulling cart/objects (up to 25 lbs.), walking, climbing stairs, in-state travel (both driving and riding). Sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Primarily Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional after hours and weekends required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Job Summary
The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition seeks an Agriculture Extension Associate Senior to support the work of the department's extension faculty. This position will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of extension programming in the areas of food, nutrition, and health including the development of educational resources and curriculum materials. Additional responsibilities will include assistance with research efforts/ data collection on designated projects, creation of program evaluation reports, and assisting extension faculty with various other publications, including publications for peer-reviewed journal articles.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented; exhibiting maturity and good judgment; have exceptional technical writing skills; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; the ability to prioritize; excellent verbal communication skills; and the capacity to work independently and with flexibility. Successful candidates will also have content knowledge of connecting nutrition, agriculture, and health.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
This position will be writing intensive and will require exceptional writing skills. The successful candidate should have experience writing and reviewing external publications, grant proposals, and training materials. Successful candidate will posses content knowledge of connecting nutrition, agriculture, and health.
