POSITION:ONE Full-time, position is available in Intercollegiate Athletics beginning July 1, 2024. The working title of this assignment is Men's & Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Assistant Coach with an official title in the Coach title series. This is a Limited appointment as defined in the UWS 15.01 WI Administrative Code. The starting salary will be $40,000 annually. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution is required. Demonstrated success in all areas of duties listed below. Must have strong leadership and communication skills. A commitment to athletic excellence within an academic environment. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness. Special consideration to those with experience coaching at the collegiate level.

DUTIES:

1. Assist the head coaches in directing a highly successful programs within the guidelines of the University, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), and NCAA Division III.

2. Assist in the recruitment, instruction, mentoring, and retention of qualified student athletes consistent with the academic standards of the University.

3. Assist with the care and inventory of equipment for the program.

4. Assist with the promotion of the sport with students, alumni, and members of the community.

5. Assist with promoting program revenue generation related to the program.

6. Participate in department fundraising and public relations events.

7. Assume other duties as agreed upon by the Head Coaches and Athletics Director.
