The S.A.F.E. Center is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide free and confidential services for those affected by dating violence, domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and stalking while also bringing awareness and prevention efforts to all individuals across South Central Nebraska.
We currently serve Buffalo County, Franklin County, Harlan County, Kearney County, as well as Phelps County
We provide Intervention Services that use collaborative teamwork by our advocates and therapists allows us to offer a variety of direct services to victims and survivors of violence in crisis and on the journey to healing.
We also focus on prevention in which our staff strives to stop violence before it happens and to cultivate a culture that stands up against it, equipping communities with the skillsets to do so.
The Domestic Violence Intervention Program for Men is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Co-Facilitator. This is a Part-time evening position, with about 2-4 hours per week. Candidates must have a degree in a Human Service or Counseling field or an equivalent combination of education and applied experience. Applicants should be violence free, have strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of power and control, and the ability to keep information confidential. Training will be provided.
