Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Continuing Education Program Coordinator 

Primary Job Duties:

Reporting to the Director of the Center for Healthy Communities, this position is responsible for the oversight of the community education, professional development, and continuing education (CE) program; and the development, coordination, and management of a variety of programs, courses, and events; assuring course delivery. Serves as a representative of the Center for Healthy Communities as a liaison to internal and external constituencies and supports the effective delivery of grant-funded programs. Analyze the program needs, and manage the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and operational efficiency of the CE program. The Coordinator also provides support to the College of Health & Human Services for academic programs and co-curricular education experiences.  

Minimum Qualifications: Three to Five years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Human Services or related field.   

Advanced computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office and other software applications. Basic familiarity with graphic design software (Canva, HootSuite) and software applications including: Zoom, SUCCEED/Canvas, Eventbrite, Qualtrics, and Panopto.

Superior communication skills, effective delivery both orally and in writing, with tact and diplomacy. Excellent grammar, writing, and linguistic skills. Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of constituencies. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple activities simultaneously, meeting deadlines and accurately completing tasks. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills.  Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. 

This is a part-time, exempt, Contingent II (long-term contractual), position with a limited benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, paid leave, tuition remission and more. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
