Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The ME Manager is responsible first and foremost for supporting and improving existing production jobs and their associated processes. Secondarily, this position and the disciplines involved will aid in onboarding new programs and processes at Royal. This position is responsible for scrap reduction, process stability and methods for monitoring key process characteristics to understand when process stability is jeopardized.

  • Evaluating manufacturing process, both existing and potential, to ensure that processes are stable while meeting industry, customer and Royal requirements is required.
  • Conferring between the customer, equipment vendors and raw material manufacturer may be required at times.
  • Leading, managing and team accountability.
  • Leading and developing the team to be the process subject matter experts.
  • Development and maintained system to log and analyze process data to evaluate trends in processes.
  • Scheduling of human resources to insure effective utilization between engineering disciplines.
  • Support of existing legacy programs in production.
  • Supporting the launch of new programs into production
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual, and reliable attendance as set by the supervisor according to handbook guidelines consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Abide by all safety, quality, personnel, and other policies as applicable.

Marginal Duties

  • Support continuous process improvement measures.
  • Specification testing per customer and certification requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company

Work Qualifications:

  • Formal education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in related areas.
  • Computer Skills: Must be able to use common office software and engineering software systems.
  • Certificates and Licenses: None required.

Schedule:

 

  • 10 hour shift
  • 4x10
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
