Job Duties
The successful candidate will teach courses in Microbiology and or Immunohematology (Blood Bank) within the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program. The faculty member will also participate in student recruitment, and advise prospective and current medical laboratory science students.
The successful candidate is also expected to engage in scholarly activities and assist the program director as needed, as well as participate in department and university activities and programs.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Masters in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Education, from an accredited university. A national certification with the American Society for Clinical Pathology /National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (ASCP/NCA), as a generalist.
Other Preferences for Consideration
Candidates with a Doctoral degree preferred.
Higher Education teaching experience a plus.
