Position Overview: Working closely with the Associate Dean for Learning and Engagement, this position oversees the day-to-day operations of the Access Services Department, which includes a service desk, circulation, interlibrary loan, and stacks maintenance. Though primarily a daytime position, hours may vary occasionally based on library operating hours and business needs. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Leadership Responsibilities

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing library reference or a similar type of customer service.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of current and emerging practices in library access, resource sharing, delivery services, and user services.
- Evidence of strong commitment to patron service and engagement.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Experience with integrated library systems and library discovery systems.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with assessing services and using evidence to improve operations and services.
- Experience onboarding new employees and creating a culture of continual learning and improvement.
- Experience working in an academic library setting.
