Responsibilities:
Teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes aligned with the candidates' credentials in education and/or research; advising students, conducting research, publishing in professional journals, serving on various committees, and assuming responsibility for helping to develop and maintain a quality teacher education program in the Division of Teacher Education, Leadership, and Research. The successful candidate will also be expected to serve on doctoral committees, and perform other duties as assigned by the division chair and college dean.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have an earned doctorate in teacher education, leadership, special education, or other related field. Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of three years teaching or leadership experience in education. Of particular importance is a thorough working knowledge of current research and practices in education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.Earned doctorate in teacher education, leadership, special education, or other related field. Also required are three years teaching or leadership experience with school aged children and a thorough working knowledge of current research and practices in education. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively are also essential.Earned doctorate in teacher education, leadership, special education, or other related field, thorough knowledge of current research and practices in education, and three years of experience in teaching or leadership of school age children. A record of publications and presentations is also preferred.
Salary:
9 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
