OFFICE ASSISTANT
We are looking for a responsible receptionist/assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in a law office. Duties include assisting in daily office needs and managing the general administrative activities of a law office.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, and take messages.
- Answer and direct emails.
- Organize and schedule appointments.
- Prepare and distribute typed correspondence, emails, memos, and forms.
- Prepare billing.
- Data entry.
- Maintain a filing system and contact lists.
Skills
- Experience as an office receptionist/assistant, in a legal setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook. Must be comfortable working on a computer most of your day.
- Ability to transcribe dictation.
- Knowledge of legal technology is helpful (efiling, transcription software, copier/printer).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
