Maintenance / Grounds Crew Member -Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, improvements and custodial care of the fairgrounds including all buildings, arenas, grounds, equipment and parking lots. -Provides custodial and landscaping services by conducting routine cleaning, painting, mowing, snow removal, and other services. -Maintains grounds equipment and vehicles in a safe operating condition. -Prepares buildings and grounds for upcoming events. -Cleans and repairs facilities following events. -Performs general grounds clean-up including picking up paper and trash on grounds areas. Hauls dirt, trash, manure and other materials. -Performs building maintenance and cleaning/custodial duties. -Mows/trims lawns. Hoes weeds and rakes lawn. -Operates power riding lawn mowers, sweepers, sprayers, trucks, skip loaders, tractors, chain saws, power edgers and other motorized equipment. -Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by supervisor. This includes participating in special projects, occasionally filling in for other employees, participating in ongoing training, and a variety of other functions as needed. 40 Hour Work Week, Typically General Hours are Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm with some weekends and holidays and Buffalo County Fair.
